In September I joined an incredible group of vendors in this “Into the Wild” styled shoot put together by Finch and Ivy. Collaborating with these vendors, who were not only unbelievably talented but an awesome group of creatives, made for a hectic but hugely fun afternoon and evening. Filled with wild greenery, surrounded by the gorgeous views and packed with unique wedding ideas, this shoot was a dream to be a part of.
Working from Belinda’s (of Finch and Ivy) mood board I created this invitation suite and day of stationery. Each piece was hand-lettered in a bouncing, modern calligraphy style in deep Prussian blue ink on textured paper with hand deckled edges. I designed a bespoke monogram which repeated throughout the suite; with the monogram and the hand drawn leaves tying the pieces together. The suite was wrapped in a hand painted vellum band and placed into gorgeous deep blue envelopes from Peterkin Paper. Both the envelopes (large and response) had hand drawn envelope liners repeating the monogram and leaf motif. The suite and day of stationery complimented the Australian native plants, wild greenery and brass details used in the styling of the shoot and carried through the “Into the Wild” theme.
