About

Every couple wishes to make their wedding unique, personal and amazingly special. They turn to Little Duck Calligraphy to realise their vision of having a suite of custom, hand crafted stationery, reminiscent of a bygone era, and reflecting their passions. Combining classic and timeless elements with a touch of modern finesse I collaborate with couples to breathe life and personality into their wedding stationery. My favourite part of the design process is getting to know couples and understanding their passions and joys so that special touches of these can be incorporated into their design. There are so many ways to truely personalise your stationery, from adding the illustration of a flower or momento that holds special memories, including your precious furbabies, adding subtle hints or beautiful quotes from your favourite books, or creating a map of all the precious landmarks of your love story...and I just love finding out those special elements from my couples and working them into a beautiful and personal design. I believe that love is love and am overjoyed to work with a diverse range of couples.

Brides and grooms choose Little Duck Calligraphy because the focus behind creating their stationery puts them in the centre of the creative process. We work together to create the wedding stationery of their dreams, from save the dates to thank you notes and everything in between. From my own wedding I know how intimidating custom wedding stationery can be to an outsider with such a plethora of options to choose from; handmade paper to letterpress to silk ribbon - the list can seem endless and overwhelming. So I collaborate with my clients to help them fulfil their vision while staying within budget, guiding them through the many options available and helping bring their stationery vision to life.

Little Duck Calligraphy grew from the love for the art of calligraphy I found when planning my own wedding. As a self confessed history nerd and bookworm, I have always been in awe of the gorgeous script seen in old love letters and notes from times past. When it came time to plan my own wedding I knew that I wanted to reflect those loving words penned so beautifully for our special day - with beautiful calligraphic touches and details. This initiated a love affair with the art of calligraphy and I dedicated myself to learning and growing my skills in the art and quickly expanded to include sketching and watercolour paint. I now lead a collaborative group for calligraphers that spans Australia and New Zealand and am a preferred contributor to an exclusive wedding stationers collective based in the USA, using my experience and knowledge to support budding calligraphers and wedding stationers. I have found my true joy spending my days buried behind piles of gorgeous paper whilst splattered with ink and paint.
